How to Stop Home Foreclosure? Are You Waiting For Government Help? You'd Better Read This

A communication problem exists between lenders and owners in foreclosure. Now, it's best to find information on how to stop home foreclosure yourself, but before we go any further it's important that you know what's really going on.

Insurance companies, real estate developers, state and local governments are asking for bailouts. As an individual, you don't qualify for a bailout and you never will. Nothing is forthcoming about how homeowners can learn how to stop home foreclosure themselves.

Your money, tax payer money, is being handed out with zero accountability to banks and financial institutions. The government doesn't seem to get it. These institutions are not required to help a homeowner re-finance, or stop their own foreclosures from proceeding.

The Associated Press tried to find out what happened to the initial 700 billion dollar bailout package. On December 22nd, the AP asked how the funds were being disbursed after rumors of million dollars for TOP Executives bonuses circulated. The banks declined to comment. Questions concerning how to stop home foreclosure were left unanswered.

As of right now, there are no federal assistance programs to teach homeowners how to stop home foreclosure. The housing market is not to blame, the money is there, it's just not going to you.

Lenders and CEOs are not losing their jobs. Ironically, the bailout money that was supposed to forestall the crash of our financial system has been paid to the same people that started the problem to begin with. By loaning money to people who weren't qualified or able to pay back their loans, the banks started their own collapse.

The banks do not have to disclose where the money is going and so they are free to do as they wish. The federal government could have started a buy-back program to absorb and re-finance mortgages at a lower interest rate. The mortgage meltdown could have ended before it started. This is a disgrace for the American people.

If the fund had been directed at the homes in distress, the financial and housing crisis both could have been solved, but that wasn't the priority. These problems continue to grow with no end in sight. Mortgage owners are still trying to find out how to stop home foreclosure and it looks like there's no help to be found.

The economy is in bad shape and getting worse. Growth Domestic Product (GDP) fell 0.5% in the last quarter, and existing home sales fell 8.6% for the month of November. What will December be like?

The Mortgage Assistance Program the Federal Government put in place is not working, no one qualifies for it. There are so many pre-conditions that most homeowners are not approved. As of now the program has helped less than 1% of the people in need. As people start to lose their jobs and their interest rates re-set, they find themselves in deeper and deeper trouble.

However, there are many things you can do if you are looking to find out how to stop home foreclosure. Different strategies can help you stay in your house, things the banks won't tell you. Did you know you can stay in your home for up to 24 months? There are many ways to avoid becoming homeless.

It's import to react quickly. You don't need an expensive lawyer to understand how to stop home foreclosure. You can do everything yourself.
